September 8 - 10, 2017
The final event of the trilogy series will be held in Cynthiana, KY on September 8 through 10, 2017. Reenactors from all branches are welcome. The registration fees are $25 per cavalry trooper and $10 for all other branches, including civilians. Spectator admissions fees will be $10 per adult and $5 per child, under twelve years of age.
This event will tell the story of Morgan’s last raid
into Kentucky, including his final victory AND ultimate
defeat at the hands of General Stephen Burbridge in
1864. The event will be non-stop for three straight days,
including riding over 30 miles of Harrison County,
Kentucky, along the same route General Morgan’s men
took in 1864. Three full scale battle reenactments,
depicting the engagements Morgan’s men were involved in during the Raid and infantry marches to bring Morgan to heel in order to overwhelm and destroy his raiding force.
